BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2010) - PJM Interconnection President and CEO Terry Boston will be a featured speaker at KEMA's third annual Utility of the Future Leadership Forum, "Strategic Choices – Striking Equilibrium." Boston will join energy and utility industry CEOs in sharing their insights on strategy and challenges to engage customers and achieve a sustainable energy supply at the KEMA event, being held June 23 – 25, 2010 at The Four Seasons, Washington, DC.
Boston will be participating on the utility CEO panel discussing balancing business and technology for sustainable energy supply and delivery. He also will present a keynote address.
Since 2000, PJM's Board has authorized more than $15 billion in system upgrades to maintain a reliable power supply system for more than 51 million people in 13 states and the District of Columbia. The regional transmission organization (RTO) has been leading the way in piloting aspects of tomorrow's grid, working with member companies, innovators, research and academic institutions, and industry experts to advance the transmission grid and strengthen the PJM region power supply infrastructure.
