RouteMatch Software Customers Highlight One-on-One Workshops and Roundtables as Informative, Beneficial at 2010 User Conference

RouteMatch Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary During the Event

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - June 1, 2010) -  At the 2010 User Conference, RouteMatch Software decided to combine educational sessions, workshops and roundtables with a celebration of its 10th anniversary serving the transit industry. With more than 80 public and private transportation providers and 165 attendees across 32 states in attendance, the April User Conference was designed to share best practices on intelligent transportation systems, new routing and scheduling software enhancements, and advanced transportation technologies, with a special focus on mobility management.

The highlight of the conference, based on customer surveys, was one-on-one workshops and roundtables with the RouteMatch team that allowed attendees to get in-depth information and engage in meaningful discussions with colleagues in the industry. As attendees put it, "Workshops were well planned, participation encouraged, and RouteMatch employees were willing to find out answers to questions or issues that users encounter."

Among the numerous RouteMatch customers speaking was Lynnda Bassham, Director of Human Services at the Lower Savannah Council of Governments. Ms. Bassham participated on a panel of experts in exploring topics around mobility management.

Ms. Bassham said, "Mobility Management is at the forefront of our conversations at Lower Savannah. Mobility issues and transportation coordination are key issues offering a real opportunity to transit providers in our region to become more competitive and to maximize resources and customer service." Ms. Bassham continued, "This topic was a very appropriate one to take main stage at RouteMatch's conference, as many agency leaders were in attendance. We had constructive conversations that we hope will help us as we implement new technologies and practices in our region."

Specifically, the educational workshops helped attendees learn about additional technologies that will make transportation service and coordination more sophisticated than ever imagined, such as advanced billing technology, automated vehicle location (AVL), mobile data computers (MDCs), and interactive voice response (IVR), including the ability to use a cell phone/blackberry as a portable mobile data computer. Tim Quinn, Executive Vice President at RouteMatch Software concluded, "We have developed an event that includes a combination of educational and thought-provoking sessions, while at the same time providing some fun during the week. Our customers confirmed this is the ideal time to network, learn and come up with strategies for optimizing their operations. We look forward to hosting our customers every year and continue to provide the types of programs and services they expect from a market leader."
