Freeman Webb Recognized on National Stage, Named Finalist for Property Management Company of the Year by National Association of Home Builders

Nashville's Largest Owner, Manager of Apartments Honored in National Multifamily Housing Industry Award Competition

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - June 22, 2010) -  The National Association of Home Builders [NAHB] today recognized Freeman Webb, the largest private owner/manager of apartments in Nashville, among the top trend-setters in the multifamily housing industry, as part of its annual Pillars of the Industry Awards program promoting excellence in apartment design, development, management, and marketing. Freeman Webb is one of four finalists for Property Management Company of the Year.

"It is a true honor for Freeman Webb to be recognized as one of the top companies in our industry across the entire US," said Dan Ford, senior vice president of Freeman Webb's property management division. "This award comes on the heels of our company celebrating its 30th year in business in 2009. We are proud to have served residents in Tennessee and throughout the southeast for so many years."

Finalists were selected for superior achievement in 27 categories, including Property Management Company of the Year. Freeman Webb was chosen on the basis of its recent growth of over 25% the last two years, the increase in occupancy rates, the successful execution of promotional campaigns and the company's in-house training resources provided to employees. Hundreds of entries -- representing apartment and condo communities from across the country -- vied for this year's awards, which are considered among the most prestigious in the housing industry.

This year's finalists are showcased virtually at www.nahb.org/pillarsawards, which shows Freeman Webb and other innovative multifamily communities to viewers all over the country.

"Creativity in design and a clear understanding of the entrants' local markets characterized this year's entries," said Charles R. Brindell, Jr., President and CEO of Trammel Crow Residential, and chair of NAHB's Multifamily Leadership Board. "The results are outstanding apartments and condos that their residents will take pride in for years to come."
