Glassdoor.com(R) Debuts Enhanced Profiles for Employers to Target Job Candidates and Support Recruiting Efforts

Custom Profiles Offer Effective New Channel for Employers to Tell Their Story

SAUSALITO, CA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) -  Glassdoor.com (www.glassdoor.com), a career community offering a free inside look at jobs and companies, has debuted a new way for employers to showcase their company and culture using their own words, links, and photos -- Glassdoor Enhanced Employer Profiles. These profiles make it easy and cost-effective for companies to reach target job seekers and highlight attributes of employment by expanding on the basic background already provided for each company on the Glassdoor website.

Each Enhanced Employer Profile features the company's logo and a "Why Work for Us?" section that can be customized for each employer, including a detailed overview of the company and employee benefits, featured employer-selected office photos; workplace and industry honors and awards; direct links to the company's careers/jobs pages and videos; and, real-time integration of the company's blog, Facebook® and/or Twitter™ feeds.

Glassdoor is tightly integrating this company-provided data with its growing database of anonymous user-generated employment information sourced from members, offering a 360-degree view of what it is really like to work for a particular company. With more than 2 million monthly unique visitors, Glassdoor currently has detailed salary reports, company reviews, and interview questions and reviews for more than 84,000 companies in more than 100 countries.

Some of the companies that have already partnered with Glassdoor on their Enhanced Employer Profiles include: Accenture, Adobe, Ernst & Young, GEICO, Hotwire, L'Oreal, Orbitz, Shutterfly and Zillow.

"Even in this market, finding and attracting the best person for a job can feel like an uphill battle as companies are faced with a blanket of white noise, wading through hundreds of resumes. Glassdoor attracts millions of actively engaged employees and job seekers each month and with Enhanced Employer Profiles, companies can now tell their own story and better reach the job candidates who matter to them," said Glassdoor co-founder and CEO Robert Hohman.

"At Orbitz, we have a laser-like focus on hiring people who want to transform the way the world books travel. Glassdoor helps us showcase our company, our culture and our passion for innovation as we seek out the best technology and business talent in the marketplace," said Paul Wolfe, Group Vice President, Human Resources, Orbitz Worldwide.

As part of each Enhanced Employer Profile, companies will also receive quarterly analytics reports to help benchmark anonymous user activity for their company against key competitors.

An Enhanced Employer Profile on Glassdoor starts at $495 per month and varies by company size and current traffic to the company's associated Glassdoor pages. Discounts are available to companies that make a 12-month commitment.
