Titan Gaming Brings on World-Class Gaming Veterans to Further Platform Adoption and Momentum

Keith McCurdy, Brock Pierce Join Titan Board; David D Christensen, Michael Steuer Hired to Management Team

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2010) - Following the recent news of receiving $1 million in angel funding, as well as strategic distribution deals with ZAM Network and Quepasa, Titan Gaming today continues its momentum and growth by announcing the addition of gaming visionaries, Keith McCurdy and Brock Pierce, as board members, and industry veterans, David D Christensen and Michael Steuer to the management team.

"We are tremendously fortunate to add these gaming authorities to the Titan team," said John Maffei, CEO Titan Gaming, Inc. "There is an extraordinary amount of interest in competitive gaming as a business model, and we believe brilliant gaming minds like McCurdy and Pierce will help Titan craft the best strategy to assist publishers and developers to better monetize their audiences with competitive gaming."

Keith McCurdy, Director at Titan Gaming, was previously with Electronic Arts (EA) for 12 years. During that time, he founded EA's online division and managed the company's early efforts onto the Internet, specifically leading the launch of the industry's first MMOG. Additionally as Vice President of Technology at EA, McCurdy reported to the President and played a key role in platform strategies, strategic partnerships, and studio acquisitions.

"The gaming market has undergone significant changes in the last 18 months. Casual gaming has skyrocketed but these sites continue to struggle with issues like low customer switching costs and new revenue demands from their platform partners," states McCurdy.

"With Titan's technology, we enable game publishers and content sites to maintain complete control of their brands while simultaneously diversifying and increasing their revenue streams by offering their users legal, skill-based tournaments and competitions for points and cash prizes," concluded McCurdy.

Brock Pierce, who joins the Titan Gaming board, was the founder of Affinity Media, formerly IGE, growing it to more than 500 employees with over $500 million in transactions. Pierce sold Affinity Media to Goldman Sachs and other leading investors. Pierce is credited with being the creator of the virtual currency business.

"The video game business is changing and the competitive gaming model will redefine the landscape over the next decade," says Pierce. "I intend to help Titan blaze the way."

Titan also announces the hiring of David D Christensen to lead business development. Christensen is a 12-year game industry veteran and most recently ran international business development for Sony Entertainment Online. With deep experience in acquisitions, licensing and business affairs, Christensen also served as Vice President of Business Development for Affinity Media.

Michael Steuer joins the Titan Gaming team as Vice President of Product Development. A digital media veteran with over a decade of product development and executive management experience, Steuer was previously Vice President of Games at Twistbox and responsible for the domestic and international rollout of their skill based mobile gaming platform. Steuer also held executive management positions at THQ, MINICK and Distefora, and was a founding board member of the Dutch Mobile Marketing Association.
