Learn Spanish While Experiencing the Culture in Nicaragua

GRANADA, Nicaragua, July 14, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ORO Travel, a receptive agency based in Nicaragua, is hosting a series of "special interest and cultural packages." Among the series is the "Spanish at La Casona de Los Estrada."  Classes are held in the picturesque city of Granada.  Granada is one of the oldest cities in Nicaragua, featuring colonial buildings and cobble stone streets, dotted with unique boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. Tucked away within Granada is Casona de los Estrada a colonial home that has been transformed into a boutique hotel.

Students will be evaluated and a customized program will be assembled to meet their needs.  Private one to one classes will be held during the day, with a local Nicaraguan teacher.  Students will learn Spanish in the mornings and in the afternoon will be submerged in the culture and local rhetoric.   Excursions will be incorporated into the classes.  "Learning a language goes beyond a class room study," said Pascal Picot President and Founder of ORO Travel. "It is about learning the culture and understanding the way of life and what better place to do it than Nicaragua?"

The Spanish Package includes:

  • Round-trip private transfer from Managua Airport to Granada
  • 7 nights accommodation at Hotel Casona de los Estrada (Sunday to Sunday)
  • Full Breakfast
  • Private Spanish classes with a qualified teacher at your hotel (4 x 50 min. lessons from Monday to Friday)
  • Juice, coffee & biscuits every morning
  • Two afternoon excursions/activities with your Spanish teacher
  • Price per person starts from $440, special rates will be offered for additional weeks.

ORO Travel specializes in customized packages and tours throughout Central America. When they decided to launch the cultural packages they wanted to expose the warm Nicaraguan hospitality and the rich culture the country offers.  For many years Europeans have been making Granada their base for learning Spanish.  "It is one of the most inexpensive, educational and fulfilling experiences you can have," said Sandra Hamel, Sales Manager for ORO Travel.  Sandra came to Nicaragua to learn Spanish, fell in love with the country and decided to stay.  "It was beyond my expectations," explains Hamel.   For more information or to book the packages please visit www.orotravel.com
