Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 978,983 Ahold common shares in the period from August 9, 2010 up to and including August 13, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of
€ 10,0004 per share for a total consideration of € 9.79 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 18,116,214 common shares for a total consideration of € 184.7 million.
