SmartMetric, Inc. Confirms Settlement Discussions in Its Litigation With MasterCard and Visa

BAY HARBOR, FL--(Marketwire - November 15, 2010) - On November 10, 2010, SmartMetric, Inc. (OTCBB: SMME) and defendants Visa and MasterCard entered into a postponement stipulation, as filed with the United States District Court, to extend the November 10, 2010 report filing deadline to November 30^th. The Stipulation confirms that the Company has engaged in certain settlement discussions with one of the two defendants, and further indicates the Company's intention to continue its settlement discussions. There can be no assurance, however, that any settlement will be reached with either defendant.
