Stellar Solutions CEO to Be Inducted Into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame


PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - November 17, 2010) - Celeste Volz Ford, CEO and Founder of Stellar Solutions, Inc., was selected today for induction into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame. The distinction is bestowed on engineers and technical leaders in Silicon Valley who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and have made significant contributions to the field. Ms. Ford joins the high-caliber ranks of previous inductees, including Dr. Douglas Engelbart, inventor of the computer mouse; Dr. John L. Hennessy, President of Stanford University; Dr. Robert N. Noyce and Dr. Gordon E. Moore, co-founders of Intel; and Dr. William R. Hewlett and Dr. David Packard, co-founders of Hewlett-Packard. The Silicon Valley Engineering Council is an umbrella organization of over 40 member and affiliate professional societies representing 60,000 engineers, scientists and technologists in the high-tech Silicon Valley region. Inductees are selected on the basis of their professional achievement, service to the profession and contributions to the community.
