BELLEVUE, Wash., Dec. 8, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Likewise announced today the addition of Robin Budd as vice president of engineering to manage development of the Likewise Platform, including the enterprise products Likewise Open and Likewise Enterprise, and the OEM products Likewise Identity Services and Likewise Storage Services.
Budd brings more than 15 years of software development experience, most recently as principal of Redpoint Consulting. Previously, she has served in leadership roles at Kiha Software (where she was co-founder), Vulcan Inc. and EMC. Her leadership will impact the interoperability products that Likewise currently maintains.

As one of the founding members of Kiha, Budd was instrumental in building the team and managed all aspects of Kiha’s operations. As general manager of FlipStart at Vulcan Inc., Budd led all aspects of the development, manufacturing, sales and marketing of the FlipStart ultra-mobile computer. Her prior experience includes three years as consulting design engineer at EMC, where she worked in the Advanced Technologies Group, and as liaison to Microsoft.
