The Board of Directors of Ascom Holding AG has appointed Claes Ödman as new General Manager of Wireless Solutions Division and as a member of the Ascom Executive Board.
Since 2005, Claes Ödman has been acting as Vice President in different management functions for Ericsson AB in Stockholm. Prior to that, he held general management positions for Ericsson in Singapore and Taiwan. He has a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and also attained an MBA, both from Chalmers University in Gothenburg.
Claes Ödman will lead the Wireless Solutions Division based in Gothenburg (Sweden). Wireless Solutions is the largest division of the Ascom Group and accounted in 2010 for about half of Group revenue and for about 55% of Group EBITDA (www.ascom.com/report-en). Claes Ödman will take over his new function as of 14 June 2011.
