Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for April totalled 4,009 thousand euros and increased by 8% compared to April previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 9%.
In the month of April, retail revenue increased by 15% in Baltic region (in Latvia 23%, in Estonia 22% and in Lithuania 1%). Retail sales revenue in the Eastern Europe region decreased by 3% (including 3% increase in Russia and 13% decrease in Ukraine).
In the month of April, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 18%. Biggest growth was in Estonia and Latvia (+23%), in Lithuania (+18%), in Russia (+17%) and in Ukraine (+5%). Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in April by 18%.

At the end of April Baltika Group had 116 stores with a total sales area of 23,582 square metres, 12 stores less than in April 2010.
Consolidated sales revenue for the first four months totalled 16,030 thousand euros (7% yoy), including retail revenues of 14,763 thousand euros (8%) and wholesale revenues of 1,054 thousand euros (-12%).
