Banning to Vice President, SMB Sales and General Manager, Costa Rica Operations. In this role, Banning is responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of Tech Data's small- to medium-sized business (SMB) sales strategy, while leading its dedicated 150-person SMB sales force. In addition to his SMB executive role, Banning has functional responsibility for the management of Tech Data's 250-person operations center in Costa Rica.

Banning was previously with Tech Data from 1991 to 2000, holding multiple sales management positions and progressing to Director of Client Services. He holds a B.S. in Business Management from Eckerd College.
