Hondo Minerals Corporation Files Form 10-K/A With Inclusion of Certifications

CHLORIDE, Ariz., Nov. 3, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hondo Minerals Corporation (OTCBB: HMNC.OB) announced that the Annual Report on Form 10-K, filed on October 31, 2011, inadvertently left out the Officer Certifications due to electronic error. The Company filed a Form 10-K/A amendment today to correct the error. Because of this error, the company was considered to be temporarily delinquent in its reporting obligations with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and per normal SEC policy an "E" was added to the company's stock symbol. Since the error was corrected today with the amended 10-K/A, the "E" will removed by the open of trading tomorrow.

William R. Miertschin, Chairman and CEO of Hondo Minerals, noted, "We regret that this minor error occurred, and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause for traders and shareholders. The important thing to remember is that the Company filed the entire Annual Report on time, without applying for an extension. We take our reporting obligations seriously, and look forward to maintaining clear and timely communications with our shareholders."
