Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Management
Responsibility (‘PDMRs’).

Pursuant to the Company’s obligations under Disclosure and Transparency
Rule 3.1.4, the Company hereby notifies that the following Director
purchased Ordinary Shares of £0.05 each in the Company (the “Shares”):

The Company received notification on 30 November 2011 that Dr Jim Buckee
purchased 159,753 Shares on the London Stock Exchange up to and
including 30 November 2011 at an average price of 93.43 pence per share,
totalling 0.02% of the share capital of the Company.

Prior to this transaction, Dr Jim Buckee held 531,617 Shares, being
0.07% of the share capital of the Company. The total holding of Dr Jim
Buckee following the transaction is 691,370 Shares, being 0.09% of the
share capital of the Company.

The Company’s issued share capital consists of 802,660,757 Shares with
voting rights. Each Share carries the right to one vote. The Company
does not hold any shares in Treasury.
