Amsterdam, the Netherlands, December 5, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 1,303,000 Ahold common shares in the period from November 28, 2011 up to and including December 02, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.2895 per share for a total consideration of € 12.10 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 74,255,950 common shares for a total consideration of € 667.17 million.
