Hofseth BioCare has today, Tuesday 6 December, received a notice of possible legal action from Marine Bioproducts.
As stated in the recent prospectus prepared in connection with the offering and listing of HBC's shares on Oslo Axess, HBC has, after prior initial contact with Marine Bioproducts, received an assessment of this matter conducted by a recognized patent agency. The patent agency concluded that HBC is not in conflict with the patents referred to by Marine Bioproducts, and HBC is thus of the view that there is no legal basis for the notified possible legal action.
HBC has since been in commercial discussions with Marine Bioproducts without this having had any effect on HBC's assessment of the case.
