Bioleaching has been used commercially since 1986. There are over 20 plants that have operated, or are still operating today, three of which were designed by BacTech. This video provides a simulation of our process starting with a contaminated pile of tailings and finishing with the production of gold liberated by bioleaching and non-toxic byproducts that can be land filled.

Ross Orr, President and CEO of BacTech, stated "In most presentations we do for individual and institutional investors we have to spend a considerable amount of time explaining the technical details of how our bioleaching process works. This often leaves little time to discuss how we intend to use the technology in various projects such as Snow Lake. BacTech has built a solid foundation from which to become a revenue generating company in the near future. We are confident that this short 2 - minute video presentation will help people to quickly understand how significant our technology is and how it can be used in the commercial arena."

BacTech is currently conducting due diligence on multiple projects in Canada, U.S.A, South America and Europe. Work is underway on the Economic Assessment for Snow Lake, Manitoba and it is expected that the study will be completed by April 2012.

Finally, BacTech announced today that it has extended its Private Placement financing, announced December 13, 2011, for an additional 30 days.
