TDMobility provides Tech Data's channel of 60,000 resellers with a complete platform of wireless services, including the industry's first one-stop for hardware, software and mobility solutions, including service plans and activation. TDMobility is operated by ActivateIT, a joint venture between Tech Data and Brightstar Corp. formed in April 2011.

"We are proud to have a strong leader like Joe to head TDMobility," said Wright. "The mobility business represents a strategic growth area for the Company, and having dedicated leadership in place is valuable for our reseller customers, vendor and carrier partners and our joint venture partner, Brightstar.
