Jomar Introduces Its Model 160 Ton Injection Blow Molding Machine

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ--(Marketwire - Mar 28, 2012) - Jomar Corporation has added a new 160 ton model between its 135 and 175 ton injection blow molding machines. "The 160 fits perfectly between these two models," notes William A. Petrino, President of Jomar. "This machine includes many of the features that are available on our Model 175."

Petrino adds "We have expanded several of the specifications such as trigger bar length, swing radius and die set size. The machine features the unique and energy efficient vertical plastifier." Unlike other newly introduced machines using a vertical plastifier, Jomar drives the screw from the thick root end (discharge end) of the screw and not from the thin root end (initial feed zone) where the screw flights are deeper and are weaker. This eliminates fatigue and screw breakage.

The new 160 has the smallest foot print of any Injection Blow Machine on the market. A small foot print in a designated area means more machines, which translates to more profits.
