AAK expands production capacity for Infant Nutrition

AAK expands capacity further for the production of InFat™ at its factory in
Karlshamn. This product has been successfully introduced to the Infant Nutrition
industry by Advanced Lipids, the Joint Venture between AAK and Enzymotec. It is
produced in an unique enzymatic interesterification process and has proven to be
a very effective and appreciated addition to Infant Formulas.

AAK opened its
current state of the art factory for the manufacture of Infat™ in Karlshamn in
2008. The sales of the product has since then enjoyed a dramatic increase and
the factory expansion will enable AAK to increase the production even more to
meet expectations for continued strong growth in Advanced Lipids the coming
years.

“We are very pleased about the success of AAK so far in specialty oils
for Infant Nutrition as well as to see how betapalmitate products develop in the
market”, says Renald Mackintosh, Vice President AarhusKarlshamn AB.
