Current Analysis Names David Snow to Lead IP Services Infrastructure Practice

Principal Analyst Brings New Insights and Vast Industry Experience


STERLING, Va., June 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Current Analysis, the market leader in real-time, tactical competitive intelligence for the telecommunications and information technology markets, today announced that it has named David Snow as its new Principal Analyst for the IP Services Infrastructure module in the Service Provider Infrastructure practice.

Mr. Snow brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, including analytical and competitive intelligence services. Before joining Current Analysis, he was Senior Analyst of Mobile Commerce at Juniper Research, conducting primary research into mobile commerce market development across the mobile network operator, financial, transportation and retail sectors, with an emphasis on the impact of near field communications. Prior to Juniper Research, Mr. Snow was responsible for strategic competitor intelligence at Ericsson. This included analysis of vendors' global business strategies and supporting executive strategy and sales programs, leveraging his experience as a Senior Analyst of Corporate Industry Intelligence and Business Development Manager at Marconi Corporation.

Mr. Snow is responsible for evolving and delivering competitive intelligence and insights building on the company's tactical analysis in the IP Services Infrastructure space. His key focus areas include: hosted multimedia application servers, IP multimedia subsystems (IMS), mobile softswitching, policy control, service delivery platforms (SDPs), session border controls (SBCs) and softswitches, while also contributing to Current Analysis public forums such as webinars, podcasts and trade show panels.
