Epson Renews Content Syndication With WebCollage for 5th Straight Year

Enables Rich Product Updates in Real Time on Thousands of Retail Sites

NEW YORK, June 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WebCollage Inc., the industry-leader in publishing rich product information to retailer websites, today announced that Epson America, Inc. has renewed its content syndication agreement with the company for a fifth consecutive year. The agreement enables Epson to manage real-time, automatic content updates for hundreds of its products across a network of retail websites, assuring a consistent and intact branded shopper experience throughout the online retail channel.

In the past year, more than 3.5 million Epson customers saw the WebCollage syndicated content on the sites or mobile apps of most of the largest retailers in the world. This was a 100 percent increase in traffic from the previous year. Feature rich product content lifts sales, and has a positive impact all along the shopping continuum with increases in Add to Wish List, Add to Registry, Add to Cart and far less cart abandonment.

Epson also uses the WebCollage service to showcase product information on its internal Knoware University, a site used to update sales representatives and partner teams on the latest product developments across all Epson product categories. The Knoware University content has recently been translated into Spanish and Portuguese to help train employees in Latin America.

"Epson is a great example of a company with an impressive assortment of quality products that has leveraged WebCollage well to educate and influence online shoppers with well-crafted product and brand messaging," says WebCollage CEO Scott Matthews. "Online shoppers are interested in Epson's constant product innovation and the increase in year-over-year online traffic proves that. We are pleased to be continuing our partnership with Epson to promote their brand and products in the online retail channel for another year."
