Iveda Solutions, Integral Member of Pinkerton-Led "Federation" of Cloud Integrated Service

MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - Aug 14, 2012) - Iveda Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: IVDA) announced today its membership in an elite group of security-oriented companies called The Vigilance Federation (TVF) headed by Pinkerton Corporate Risk Management. The founding members collectively provide a single cloud-based service subscription.

Last week, Pinkerton publicly announced TVF, its mission, and the six founding members. The member companies are experts in their own fields ranging from global situational awareness dashboards, GPS tracking, cloud-based video surveillance, targeted global satellite imagery, explosives detection service, and "person-of-interest" link analysis visualization.

Specifically, Pinkerton selected Iveda Solutions for its expertise in enterprise-class cloud video surveillance and its SAFETY Act Designation from the Department of Homeland Security as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology provider.

"The Federation delivers technology, information and analysis from six different companies, fused together as a service. We're breaking new ground in the security industry -- and are excited to be extending the reach of potentially life-saving security information and services to a full spectrum of large, mid-sized and small companies, and even individual customers," said Robert Dodge, Senior Vice President of Pinkerton.

Pinkerton is the nation's oldest professional protection firm, owned by Securitas, a Swedish company with 295,000 employees in over 60 countries.

TVF offers an integrated bundled service that brings the agility, cohesion, and precision of enterprise-class cloud services to its customers' security missions allowing them to take advantage of best-in-kind security systems that are easy to use, quick to deploy, and no traditional infrastructure build out. Access to information is through a web interface with a single login, in one dashboard, using any Internet-accessible device.

"We have been evangelizing cloud-video surveillance since 2003 and Pinkerton's recognition of its value to the ever challenging global security threats further validates the services we have been providing our customers since our founding days," said David Ly, President and CEO of Iveda Solutions. "It is truly an honor for our company to be part of TVF and to be working alongside Pinkerton and the other member companies," added Ly.

Along with products and service of the founding members, TVF utilized IvedaEnterprise, Iveda Solutions' centralized video hosting and management service and its fully integrated wireless camera system at the recent G8/NATO Summit in Chicago. It was the first extensive and successful real-world test of the integration. It will also be used by a group of large company customers and certain government agencies at both the Democratic and Republican conventions this summer.

The six TVF founding companies are Advantage Factory, Breadcrumb, Detectachem, Iveda Solutions, Pinkerton, and Swan Island Networks.
