WANdisco Announces Release of Apache Subversion 1.7.6

Subversion 1.7.6 Now Available From WANdisco's Website, and Through the Award Winning uberSVN Platform


SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 15, 2012) -   WANdisco (LSE: WAND), a leading provider of Apache Subversion-based software and services for the enterprise, and a corporate contributor to the Subversion project, has announced that a new release of the world's most popular open source version control system, Subversion 1.7.6, is now available. Apache Subversion 1.7.6 can be downloaded for free from the WANdisco website, and is also available through the award winning, open ALM uberSVN platform.

This release brings plenty of bug fixes and enhancements, including:

  • A fix for running tests against httpd version 2.4
  • Constant struct initialisers now used for C89 compatibility
  • Fixes for the output of 'svn propget -R' 'svn proplist' and 'svn status'
  • Optimized 'svn upgrade' performance on large working copies
  • A fix for 'svn upgrade' on working copies with certain tree conflicts
  • Fixes for two asserts into errors for TortoiseSVN
