Changeboard Supports Inaugural U.K. Candidate Experience Awards as Gold-Level Sponsor

LONDON--(Marketwire - Aug 22, 2012) - The Candidate Experience Awards, a non-profit organisation focused on facilitating the evolution of the employment candidate experience, today announced that Changeboard, a free global career community where HR and recruitment professionals can find relevant jobs and career advice, is supporting the first-ever U.K. Candidate Experience Awards (known as "The CandEs") as a gold-level sponsor.

While companies that offer positive recruiting, screening and onboarding experiences can strengthen employment brand and attract top-level talent to fill their positions, those whose candidate experiences fall short of job seeker expectations are likely to leave candidates with feelings of frustration and resentment. They not only risk damaging employment brand, but also the company's overall brand and bottom line. Following the success of last year's 2011 North American Candidate Experience Awards, the inaugural U.K. programme is open to organisations that recruit in the British employment market. The CandEs recognise those companies who set a high standard for how they engage and treat candidates. Participating organisations receive a benchmark report allowing them to see how their candidate experience measures against the aggregate of all other companies in the CandEs. Employers can apply by 7 September to be considered and receive a benchmark report.
