CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Oct 11, 2012) - Dr. Larry Hoffman, a Chicago Dentist, has been actively involved with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for more than thirty years. During the first week of October, Dr. Hoffman attended the AAID's 61st annual meeting. The meeting, held in Washington, DC, focuses on debating the options for practical solutions in regard to implant dentistry.
The meeting is designed to facilitate a discussion in response to implant dentistry's evolving practices. With the continued onset of innovative technology and techniques in the field, dentists are presented with an increasing number of decisions on how to perform dental implant procedures. The AAID aims to "bring together the world's experts in implant dentistry to debate several options of treating a similar situation allowing [the dentist] to develop practical solutions."
Dr. Hoffman, who has worked for the past thirty years in Chicago cosmetic dentistry, is dedicated to remaining on the cutting-edge of the field. The AAID's annual meeting provides an avenue for continued education as well as an opportunity to share experience and expertise. The meeting traditionally debates topic such as the benefits of comprehensive reconstruction versus implant restorations, the longevity of specific types of implants, implant material choices, and connective skin grafts versus prosthetic solutions. As Dr. Hoffman returns from the AAID meeting, he says he is proud to have contributed to the dialogue, and returns to The Dental Implant Associates in Chicago confident in his ability to offer his patients the latest in dental implant technology and technique. "Attending the AAID annual meeting was an excellent opportunity for me to share my own experiences with all the other pioneers in the field of implant dentistry."
