South Jersey Gas Announces Executive Promotions

FOLSOM, NJ - Edward J. Graham, chairman, president and CEO of South Jersey Industries (NYSE:SJI) and Jeffrey E. DuBois, president of South Jersey Gas, announced, on behalf of the board of directors, several organizational changes effective January 1, 2013. The following appointments are part of a structured succession plan that the board is implementing over the long-term to ensure SJI's continued success well into the future.

Graham announced the appointment of Jeffrey E. DuBois to the South Jersey Gas board of directors. DuBois, who is currently president of SJG, joined the company in 1987. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Rowan University. He resides in Millville, NJ with his wife.

DuBois, in announcing the remainder of the changes noted, "Each of these employees has continually demonstrated a commitment to excellence and an ongoing dedication to the company, and each is a vital element of our leadership team. Their long-tenured energy industry experience and leadership abilities along with strategic vision and dedication to providing a safe, reliable infrastructure system are unsurpassed and greatly valued by our company."

Charles F. Dippo was appointed senior vice president, engineering services and system integrity. In his position, Dippo will direct engineering services including the design and technical specifications of all SJG facilities, system planning, pipeline operations, corrosion control, system integrity, construction and all technical services related to transmission and distribution infrastructure. Dippo joined SJG is 1979. He holds a master's degree in engineering management from Drexel University. He resides in Sewell, NJ with his family.

Stephen H. Clark was appointed senior vice president and treasurer. In this position, Clark will oversee the company's investor relations function, all financial activities including banking relationships, cash management, and long- and short-term borrowings. He will also now oversee the regulatory and sales/marketing functions. Clark joined SJI in 1997. He holds a master's in business administration from the College of William and Mary. He resides in Haddonfield, NJ with his family.

Robert F. Fatzinger was appointed senior vice president, customer and distribution operations. In this position, Fatzinger directs the activities of gas distribution operations, customer service and dispatch, as well as the safety and technical training functions. Fatzinger joined SJG in 2001. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University. He resides in Absecon with his family.

Paul J. Zuccarino was appointed vice president, distribution operations. In this position, he will oversee the activities of all personnel engaged in distribution operations including construction services, utility services, asset operations, and divisional office administration. Zuccarino joined SJG in 1984. He has a bachelor's degree in political science from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. He resides in Linwood, NJ.
