Morgan Drexen Announces Charitable Contributions; CEO Walter Ledda Joins Pacific Symphony Marketing Committee

Classically-Trained Violinist "Thrilled" at Appointment

COSTA MESA, Calif., Nov. 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Walter Ledda, CEO and Chairman of Morgan Drexen Integrated Systems, has been appointed to serve on the marketing committee of Pacific Symphony in Orange County, CA. In his capacity, Ledda will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the award-winning Symphony.  A classically-trained concert violinist, Ledda is thrilled to join such a prestigious and talented group.

"My parents were both passionate musicians who nurtured my love of the violin and classical music in general," says Ledda.  "I will bring this passion with me to the marketing committee of Pacific Symphony.  I look forward to helping the Symphony further blossom and expand its already impressive reach."

Officials with Pacific Symphony, the largest orchestra formed in the United States in the last 40 years, say they are excited to have Ledda on board.

"Walter Ledda will be a valued addition to our marketing committee," says Pacific Symphony's executive vice chairman Mike Kerr. "We look forward to learning from his marketing expertise as well as his deep musical knowledge."

Earlier this year, Ledda was appointed to the Development Committee of Make A Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire.  He has been an ardent supporter of the Make A Wish® program for many years.

Ledda's volunteer service with the Symphony and Make A Wish® comes as Morgan Drexen continues to expand its charitable contributions in the local community.  So far in 2012, Morgan Drexen and its employees have donated to the listed non-profit groups:

  • Make-A-Wish®
  • American Heart Association
  • Children's Hospital Orange County (CHOC)
  • PureGame
  • American Cancer Society
  • Valley Village Victims Fund (helping families of electrocution victims)
  • American Red Cross

Morgan Drexen employees also teamed up to collect hundreds of pounds of food as well as clothing and other household items for the Orange County Rescue Mission.  Mr. Ledda has personally donated to CHOC, as well as significant amounts to other non-profit groups.

"Morgan Drexen is founded on the principles of helping people in need," explains Ledda.  "The attorneys we support are dedicated to assisting Americans who are facing tremendous challenges.  We take that same approach with our charitable efforts:  let's support groups which dedicate themselves to helping those who are struggling or are sick or have nowhere to turn.  I have been very fortunate in my life and I know the inherent value of giving back.  Our employees know it too.  They have proven time and time again how generous they can be and I have no doubt that pattern will continue well into the future."

Morgan Drexen provides advanced automated software and back-office paraprofessional support services to attorneys across the United States.  The company, based in Costa Mesa, CA, employs more than 340-people and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.
