Lawrence Page, Q.C., Directly and Indirectly, Acquires Securities of Valterra Resource Corporation

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2012) - Valterra Resource Corporation ("Valterra") (TSX VENTURE:VQA)(FRANKFURT:3VA) reports that Lawrence Page, Q.C. of Suite 1100, 1199 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., together with Manex Resource Group Inc., Manex Investments Inc. and Lawrence Page Q.C. Law Corporation, companies at the same address as Lawrence Page, Q.C. and over which Lawrence Page, Q.C. exercises control and direction (collectively referred to as the "Shareholder") has acquired additional securities of Valterra. On November 22, 2012, the Shareholder acquired, pursuant to a private placement, 1,562,500 units (the "Units") of Valterra at a price of $0.08 per Unit. Each Unit is comprised of one common share (a "Common Share") and one-half of a common share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a "Warrant"), with each Warrant exercisable to purchase an additional Common Share at a price of $0.12 per Common Share for a period of two years.

Together with its previous holdings, the Shareholder now owns and controls 3,288,183 Common Shares of Valterra representing approximately 13.68% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares of Valterra. In addition to the Common Shares and Warrants, the Offeror holds options to purchase an aggregate 60,000 Common Shares, which in the event that such options were fully exercised the Offeror would hold approximately 13.90% of the total issued and outstanding Common Shares of Valterra calculated on a partially diluted basis.

The Shareholder acquired the securities for investment purposes, but may, from time to time, reconsider its holdings in Valterra and, as circumstances dictate, may increase or decrease its position in Valterra.
