Axial Systems, the managed service provider delivering the CounterACT service to Travelodge, added network access control (NAC) to its managed service portfolio in response to growing market demand. Like other hospitality providers, Travelodge, with more than 500 hotels across the U.K., Ireland and Spain, wanted to improve its wireless network scanning, a requirement of PCI compliance. Through one of Axial's technology briefings, ForeScout's NAC technology was identified as a potential solution. Axial Systems subsequently designed a robust managed NAC service for Travelodge, with CounterACT NAC-as-a-Service at its core. Axial, which managed ForeScout CounterACT in production, has been able to efficiently fortify Travelodge's network security and compliance measures.
