Mobiquity Acquires Vertical Performance Partners to Expand Enterprise-Class Mobile Product Offerings

Creates Mobiquity Velocity Solutions, Inc. to Bring Mobile Software Velocity to Enterprise Clients

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - Mar 28, 2013) - Mobiquity (www.mobiquityinc.com), a professional services firm creating innovative mobile solutions and apps that drive business value, today announced its acquisition of Providence, R.I.-based Vertical Performance Partners (VPP), an enterprise-class mobile software provider, to its portfolio of services. Mobiquity now will offer Velocity, VPP's customizable software for branded interactive live meetings, events and training sessions, to its enterprise client base. Leveraging the power of Velocity, already proven in the pharmaceutical industry with customers such as Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson, Mobiquity can now help businesses get the most value out of meetings and training programs by using mobile to engage and empower attendees.

The entire VPP team has joined the newly formed Mobiquity Velocity Solutions, Inc., led by Carl Wooten as vice president and general manager.

"The pharmaceutical and mHealth sectors are key verticals for Mobiquity's continued growth. The acquisition of Velocity enables us to broaden our client base and provides us another enterprise-class solution we can introduce to our clients," said Bill Seibel, founder, chairman and chief executive officer, Mobiquity. "By combining our professional services capabilities with products and frameworks that target key verticals, we're able to bring innovative solutions to market faster and at a lower cost."

Velocity joins Mobiquity's mobile product offerings that include FanShots, a first-of-its-kind customizable mobile "photo booth" that enables fans to capture, send, and instantly socialize images that chronicle their experiences at live events, such as sports games and concerts.

"This acquisition is a terrific union between two like-minded companies," Wooten said. "Now we can extend Mobiquity's valuable mobile services to our client base, and Mobiquity's expertise and scale will help us add more features and functionality to our software as well as expand into other verticals."

"We have selected the Velocity mobile meeting application as our single source platform for all of our corporate meeting and training events," said Robert Bissett, field operations manager, Otsuka America Pharmaceuticals, Inc. "Velocity's benefits to OAPI are the content and app deployment tools that allow us to go completely paperless during our events, which saves time, effort and money. In addition, Velocity allows us to quickly deploy our content onto our mobile devices for both onsite and offsite interactive efforts that provide insightful performance metrics."
