Fast-Growing HR/Benefits Communication Strategy Firm Positions Itself to Meet Demands of Rapidly Changing Industry, Maintain Innovation Leader Position


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 18, 2013) - Benz Communications today announced that the Firm has filled two newly created executive positions with senior talent from Aon Hewitt and Employee Benefit News. Benz Communications is a leading HR and benefits communication strategy firm.

Jon Stuckey, most recently a Media Solutions Leader and Solution Architect with Aon Hewitt, joins the Firm as Director of Creative Technology & Innovation. Kelley Butler, most recently Editor-in-Chief of Employee Benefit News, joins as Editorial Director. As Director of Creative Technology & Innovation, Jon will serve as visionary and architect for Benz Communications' technology solutions, infrastructure and processes. In the role of Editorial Director, Kelley will lead content creation for the Firm's clients and external marketing, thought leadership, and education materials.

Jon brings more than 16 years of experience working with large employers in strategic roles at Aon Hewitt and Hewitt Associates. He spent the last decade building cutting edge technology solutions, and consulting with clients on the appropriate use of technology to solve their HR and business problems. Prior to his position as Media Solutions Leader and Solution Architect at Aon Hewitt, Jon held a variety of positions with Hewitt Associates, including Web Solutions Center of Expertise Leader, tasked with the overall strategic direction, operational effectiveness and profitable growth of Hewitt Associates' Web Solutions business (2008-2010). He also invented Hewitt's Medical Plan Decision Toolkit (2002) and DecisionDirect™ (2007) products and service offerings. (DecisionDirect™ is a trademark of Hewitt Associates, LLC.) Jon holds a BA in Business Administration from Goshen College in Goshen, IN.

Kelley brings more than 12 years of print and digital editorial experience to Benz Communications. Prior to joining Benz Communications, Kelley was Editor-in-Chief of Employee Benefit News, a leading HR/benefits trade publication reaching 70,000+ subscribers with 15 editions annually, and EBN Digital, the interactive online version of the print magazine. During her seven-year tenure as Editor-in-Chief, Kelley directed the magazine's daily operations, and oversaw and contributed to many of EBN's online and social media initiatives. Previously, Kelley served as EBN Managing Editor and Associate Editor, as well as Senior Writer/Editor at America's Promise Alliance. Kelley holds a BA in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
