Founding Member of Chicago, Danny Seraphine, and His High-powered Band Headline eGovLIVE! Concert

California Transit Authority Will Rock Downtown Park City With Music from their Newest Album "Sacred Ground"

PARK CITY, Utah, June 13, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- California Transit Authority (CTA), featuring founding Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine, will perform for attendees of eGovLIVE 2013, the annual conference of the eGovernance community, to be held Sept. 4 - 6 in Deer Valley, UT. eGovLIVE 2013 is the premier conference for governing bodies that want to leverage electronic governance to maximize board effectiveness.

eGovLIVE attendees will enjoy a special performance of classic hit songs, including "Saturday in the Park," "25 or 6 to 4," "Make Me Smile" and more. In conjunction with CTA's performance, the band is celebrating its new album Sacred Ground by supporting music education with its release. CTA has teamed up with the Fender Music Foundation to donate 10 percent of the album's net profits to help provide instruments to music classrooms, after school programs and music therapy programs.

At eGovLIVE representatives from districts across the country will gather for educational sessions packed with thought leadership, best practices and real-world applications of eGovernance. Featured speaker Sir Ken Robinson, recently called "among the world's elite thinkers on creativity and innovation," will challenge governing bodies to re-evaluate outdated assumptions about intelligence and creativity — and unleash the real potential of people and organizations.

eGovLIVE 2013 will be held at the Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond Stein Eriksen Lodge nestled in Utah's Deer Valley Ski Resort. There is no charge to attend for BoardDocs subscribers; all other guests are welcome for a nominal fee of just $250.
