PowerStream Launches Unique Paperless Billing Contest

'Choose to Win' Also Allows Customers to do Their Part in Protecting the Environment

VAUGHAN, Ontario, Aug. 6, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PowerStream has launched a unique contest to create awareness among customers of the benefits of paperless billing and the advantages of being able to access up to 24 months of billing and payment information online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The 'Choose to Win' contest is unique in that it allows subscribers of PowerStream's eBilling service the opportunity to not only win a tablet but to also choose the type of tablet they would like to own. By switching to eBilling, PowerStream customers will be eligible to win one of five tablet and accessory packages of their choice, up to a maximum value of $1,000.

The contest is running until November 30, 2013. PowerStream customers currently signed up with the company's eBilling service are automatically included in the contest. Other PowerStream customers interested in participating in the contest, can do so by visiting www.PowerStream.ca, registering on "My Account Info" and selecting the eBilling option.

PowerStream's eBilling program is simple, economical and efficient. Designed with the end-user in mind, the program offers customers email notifications as to when their bills are available, which they can access securely online anytime and anywhere through PowerStream's website.

When retrieving their eBills, customers also have secure access to detailed account information, useful energy-saving tips and are able to compare their electricity usage by benchmarking it against other customers in their community. The eBilling service reduces the use of paper for billing purposes, which in turn helps to protect the environment.
