MicroEdge Announces Availability of Detailed Session Agenda for Annual Solutions Conference

Extensive educational program focuses on helping philanthropic organizations work more effectively and accelerate impact

New York, NY, Aug. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MicroEdge, LLC, the leading provider of solutions to the giving community worldwide, today announced the availability of the detailed session agenda for the 2013 MicroEdge Solutions Conference (MESC). The MicroEdge Solutions Conference unites hundreds of professionals and experts from a broad range of philanthropic organizations for three days of training, peer learning and networking. This year's conference will take place from October 27-30 in Denver, Colorado.

Each year, the MicroEdge Solutions Conference delivers an extensive program that includes more than one hundred educational sessions focused on the most important issues affecting and influencing the philanthropic and corporate giving communities. Users of MicroEdge grants management, foundation management and employee involvement solutions convene alongside leading experts to discuss the issues, share best practices, and forge relationships that will lead to solutions to some of the challenges facing the giving community today.

Conference attendees include diverse individuals working in grants management, program management, development, financial, corporate social responsibility, community affairs, and executive roles. Collectively, they represent a variety of organizations, from leading private, corporate, family and community foundations, to corporate giving programs, faith-based organizations, and government agencies.

This year's conference theme, Accelerate Your Impact, focuses on progressive strategies and innovative solutions for juicing up impact. "Today's philanthropic organizations continue to become more and more sophisticated in how they think about contributing their time and money," says Kathy Krais, Director of Marketing for MicroEdge. "No individual or organization has unlimited resources, so they expect - and need - each donated or granted dollar, each volunteer hour, every action they take, to do the most good. This year's conference will focus on helping organizations make that happen."

The conference agenda also includes a wide range of sessions and hands-on training labs centered around effective use of MicroEdge solutions. Key topics that will be covered by MicroEdge staff, experts in the field and MicroEdge clients include moving to cloud-based solutions, personalizing and optimizing grants, foundation and employee involvement systems, managing organizational change, online fundraising strategies and donor relationship building. These sessions are broken down into tracks tailored to the needs of attendees from all types of philanthropic and corporate giving organizations. There is also a track designed for current and aspiring organizational executives.

In addition to the educational content, MESC attendees can also test drive new MicroEdge products, schedule one-on-one consultations with an array of industry experts and MicroEdge product specialists, and interact with their peers through a number of networking and community service activities.
