Transcom update following the earthquake on 15 October in the Philippines

Luxembourg, 16 October 2013 – A 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the central
Philippines on Tuesday 15 October. Transcom’s two contact centers in this area,
in Bacolod and Iloilo, are not located in the immediate vicinity of the

the structural integrity of the buildings has been confirmed by engineers.

There were no significant disruptions to client service and all employees are
reported to be unharmed.

“I am glad that all our employees are safe. At the same time, our hearts go out
to all those who have been affected by this tragic event. Transcom’s employees
in the Philippines will be contributing to the relief work in the affected
