Scott Campbell Joins IT Channel Marketing Firm CommCentric

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Nov 14, 2013) - One of the technology channel's most experienced writers, Scott Campbell, is joining the CommCentric Solutions team. The IT channel marketing communications and PR agency announced today that Campbell comes aboard Nov. 18 to support the firm's growing international customer base. In addition to further strengthening CommCentric's content marketing services, Campbell brings even greater depth to the company's extensive channel-focused knowledge from his interaction with numerous corporations within the IT channel, including solution providers, vendors, distributors, research firms, financial analysts and others over the past 16 years.

Campbell joins CommCentric as a senior IT channel communications specialist after most recently serving as Security Threats & Trends Analyst at Clearwater, Fla.-based ThreatTrack Security Inc., which specializes in helping organizations identify and stop Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), targeted attacks and other sophisticated malware. Prior to ThreatTrack, Campbell was with UBM Channel, a one-stop shop for accessing, enabling, managing and accelerating technology sales. While with UBM, Campbell was an award-winning journalist, covering multiple beats and in key positions ranging from distribution editor to assistant news editor. In 2012, he received a Folio Gold award for Best Online News Coverage for reporting from Joplin, Mo., on how solution providers helped customers after the tornado struck that community.
