Henderson Global Investors Limited Acquires Securities of Edge
Resources PLC in placing

TORONTO - December 11, 2013 - Henderson Global Investors Limited
("Henderson") announces certain institutional funds managed by Henderson
(collectively, the "Funds") acquired an aggregate of 60,899,334 ordinary
shares ("Shares") in the capital of Edge Resources
PLC ("EDGE") through a placing on the AIM market of the London Stock
Exchange.

As a result of this placing participation, the Funds own approximately
27.58% of the 163,802,206 issued and outstanding Shares as reported by
the Issuer in its news release dated 18 November 2013 on the
C$3.5million placing to fund further development of the Company's
shallow, conventional oil prospects in Eye Hill, Saskatchewan.

The Shares were acquired for investment purposes. Henderson, on behalf
of the Funds, may from time to time acquire additional securities of
Edge resources and/or dispose of such securities as they may deem
appropriate.
