UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill., Dec. 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Systems today announced that ACORD, the organization that establishes and enforces data standards for the U.S. insurance industry, recently honored Applied Systems with several prestigious awards for 2013, including Download Vendor of the Year - Total Implementations.
The Download Vendor of the Year - Total Implementations award is based on the total number of insurance agencies receiving policy, billing, claim, activity and document downloads from all insurance carriers. The award is presented to the agency management system vendor whose systems are utilized by more agencies than any other vendor systems to receive downloads. This is the 20th consecutive year that Applied Systems has been named Download Vendor of the Year.
