DRAPER, UT--(Marketwired - Dec 19, 2013) - Megadyne Medical Products, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of electrosurgical products, has signed an extended two and half-year agreement to offer electrosurgical equipment and accessories to Yankee Alliance's over 15,000 members, including 159 member hospitals, 765 surgery centers nationwide. Megadyne has been a valued contracted supplier with Yankee Alliance since 2007.
The renewal agreement, which runs through August 31, 2015, has been enhanced to include five tiers of pricing and an option for smaller facilities to aggregate spend in order to qualify for top pricing tiers. Under the terms of the agreement, Yankee Alliance has contracted access to Megadyne's complete line of electrosurgical accessories, including proprietary product lines such as ACE Blade® Advanced Cutting System, E-Z Clean® line of non-stick electrosurgical tips, the Mega Soft® Reusable Patient Return Electrode, and E-Z Pen® Electrosurgical Pencil. The contract also includes the Mega Vac™ Smoke Evacuation system and Megadyne's Mega Power® Electrosurgical Generator, as well as the 8 year warranty program.
