Another Broken Egg Cafe Opens in Vintage Park with Events to Raise Money for Three Houston Nonprofits


HOUSTON, Jan. 7, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Owner/Operator Paul Sikand is pleased to announce the anticipated January 20, 2014 opening of Another Broken Egg Café (ABEC) at 118A Vintage Park, Houston, TX, 77070. This is the first ABEC to open in Houston. Texans interested in a sneak preview can support three very worthy local causes by visiting ABEC for a pre-opening dining experience. The public is invited over three exclusive dates to dine at no charge with donations being accepted for the featured nonprofits: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Houston SPCA and Houston Food Bank. Thursday, January 16, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM benefits Houston Food Bank, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes food to hunger relief charities. The Houston Food Bank feeds 137,000 people each week and is leading the fight against hunger. The menu features fresh and nutritious southern-inspired dishes. There are six varieties of eggs benedict, 11 gourmet omelette choices, an exceptional signature Bananas Foster over Belgian waffles, French toast or sweet potato pancakes, southern crabstack, biscuit beignets, along with handcrafted burgers, specialty sandwiches and fresh salads.
