SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2014) - AlienVault, the leading provider of Unified Security Management™ solutions and crowd-sourced threat intelligence, today announced it has hired former HP executive Andy Johnson to serve as its new vice president of business development. In his role, Johnson will work to generate strategic, new alliances for AlienVault that significantly augment the already strong demand and growth seen by the company for its Unified Security Management (USM) platform and its Open Threat Exchange (OTX), the largest crowd-sourced collaborative threat exchange.

"We are delighted to welcome Andy to the team," said Barmak Meftah, president and CEO of AlienVault.
