TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 22, 2014) - Kariana Resources Inc. has announced its intention to consolidate its issued and outstanding share capital on the basis of four (4) current shares for 1 new share. Any fractional shares resulting from the Consolidation will be converted to whole shares pursuant to the provisions of Section 83 of the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia).

As a result, the outstanding common shares of the company will be reduced to approximately 3,006,250. The record date and effective date for the share consolidation is January 27, 2014.

The shares will begin trading on a consolidated basis and with a new CUSIP number on January 27, 2014. The name and symbol will not change.

Please note that all open orders will be cancelled at the end of business January 24, 2014. Dealers are reminded to re-enter their orders taking into account the share consolidation.
