New Book, 'Optimal Living 360,' Offers Guide to Getting the Most Out of Life

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Feb 4, 2014) - In just-published book, "Optimal Living 360: Smart Decision Making for a Balanced Life," practicing physician Sanjay Jain (www.sanjayjainmd.com), who also holds a master's degree in business, walks readers through his step-by-step process for ensuring they're the healthiest, happiest and most successful they can be.

"Optimal living occurs as a result of learning how to balance all of what I call our Core Assets -- those aspects of life that we all share and are important to all of us," Dr. Jain says. "When we focus too much on one asset, others are neglected, and our overall well-being declines."

Jain identifies the core assets with the acronym ASPIRES -- Assets: Safety, Physical health, Intellectual health, Relationships, Economic health, and Spiritual health. Identify your priorities for each asset, he says, so you can allocate the appropriate resources of time, money, emotion, energy and socialization for each.

An important tool for achieving balance on a day-to-day basis is his Integrated Decision Making process, which ensures consideration is given to the effects of each decision on each Core Asset.

"That's how you maximize your chances of getting the best outcomes every time you make a decision," Jain says.

Reviewer Sara Hartley of ForeWord Reviews praises "Optimal Living 360" as an "all-encompassing guide to life" written humor and a breezy, conversational style.

"Covering all the bases, from finances and decision-making to relationships and spirituality, Optimal Life 360 is a tune-up for a life that may be exhibiting signs of average wear and tear," Hartley writes. "Even if you don't think your life needs a tune-up, you should still have a copy of this book for your proverbial glove box."
