Nurses Lounge Announces April App Launch

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Feb 21, 2014) - Nurses Lounge, Inc, an online professional network for nurses and a wholly-owned subsidiary of MedCAREERS Group, Inc. ("MCGI" or the "Company") (OTCQB: MCGI), a development stage company, today announced the upcoming April release of its free iPhone and iPad Nurses Lounge app with an Android version to follow later a few weeks later. The app will make it extremely easy for nurses to maintain communications with all the professional organizations that they belong to, including finding job openings, special events and classes.

"We're excited to offer an app for our service. It's something students have especially been asking for since joining Nurses Lounge," said Tim Armes, the president and CEO of MedCAREERS GROUP, Inc. and founder of Nurses Lounge. "With this app, a student nurse association for example, can do away with posting meetings on bulletin boards around campus and potentially contact the entire nursing student body about a meeting taking place in just an hour or two with just a few clicks." Armes added that the app will also build a new low cost revenue stream as it will be a perfect platform for targeted advertising.

The beauty of Nurses Lounge is how easy it is for organizations to communicate to their constituents and broader nursing profession. Once a Lounge page is set up, it offers a "join" link that the school's dean emails in an invitation to students, alumni and faculty. The email explains the service, and once the recipient clicks the link and registers by creating a professional profile, they are automatically placed in the school's lounge. New members then create a professional network with fellow students and alumni as well as join other interactive lounges created by various organizations. When information is posted, the student receives an instant email alert or notification via the app on their phone. They can comment and ask questions via a professional profile versus a social profile.

"A major side benefit is that it helps the nursing school build and maintain an alumni organization," said Armes. "Once a student connects to the school and builds a professional network with other students and alumni they are likely to stay connected to the school for years to come."
