MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Appoints Industry Veteran to Lead MacB Gray Enterprise Solutions' Defense and NASA Business Development Efforts


DAYTON, Ohio, April 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that Patrick Simpson has been appointed Vice President of Business Development for MacB's Gray Enterprise Solutions (GES) business unit headquartered in Huntsville, Ala. Simpson will report directly to Dennis Werth, President of MacB GES.

In his new role, Simpson will utilize his 25 years of business development, operations management and leadership experience to expand MacB's presence in the Defense and NASA communities. Specifically, he will be responsible for increasing growth opportunities throughout the NASA Space Systems Engineering and Support, Missile Defense Engineering and Testing, C4ISR Systems, Software Engineering and U.S. Army Programmatic, Logistics and Technical domains. In addition, Simpson will be responsible for expanding MacB's strategic business footprint and cultivating critical relationships with government and key industry partners.

Prior to joining MacB, Simpson was Senior Executive Director of ManTech's Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group where he successfully led major capture and re-compete opportunities and significantly expanded the division's Huntsville, Ala. operations. Before joining ManTech, Simpson held senior level business development and management positions at USIS, Lionel Henderson and Company, Inc. and DynCorp. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
