Frankie Moreno Headlines Nevada School of the Arts' Annual Fundraising Event "Sizzler on the Roof," October 8 at The Picnic at Downtown Grand

Proceeds to Provide Music Education Scholarships for Nevada Students


LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Aug 27, 2014) - The Las Vegas community will celebrate the love of music education at Nevada School of the Arts' "Sizzler on the Roof" fundraising event, Wednesday, October 8 at 7pm at The Picnic in Downtown Grand Hotel.

In the musical spotlight is the outrageously gifted, fun and endlessly exuberant Frankie Moreno, his stellar band and local guests. Joining Moreno in concert is DeAnn Letourneau, concert mistress of Las Vegas Philharmonic and the NSA Chamber Orchestra. It will be an unforgettable evening "on top of the city" spiced with great food and libations in an open air lounge setting dotted with cabanas around the pool, offering some of the most breathtaking skyline views in Las Vegas.

The event is the organization's largest annual fundraiser, designed to raise funds and awareness for NSA's objectives to provide tuition assistance, provide a dedicated and professional faculty, develop and maintain educational partnerships and to act as an advocate for the arts.

Local corporations including Las Vegas Sands Corporation and Lexus of Las Vegas are supporting the Nevada School of the Arts' efforts as event sponsors.
