SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - Sep 12, 2014) - Glympse, the world's leading location sharing technology company, has just unveiled a new tool that will make it even easier for Android users to incorporate location into any service or application: the Glympse Keyboard. This downloadable custom keyboard allows Glympse users to share a dynamic map of their present whereabouts from any app on their device, without having to interrupt their current discussion or activity.

The Glympse Keyboard works in conjunction with the Glympse app, and Android users can select from two distinct modes to share their location: Quick Send or Full Keyboard.
- Quick Send: The Quick Send feature allows users to continue using their existing keyboard while also providing quick access to location sharing capabilities. Users simply hold the designated keyboard change button on their phone to switch to Quick Send. From there, a user can set the duration for the Glympse, tap "Create" and the link is instantly pasted into the app they are currently in. Once inserted, the user's normal keyboard returns.
- Full Keyboard: Glympse Keyboard replaces a user's current keyboard with a full QWERTY keyboard that simply substitutes the trademarked Glympse icon for the "G" key. Users can use the keyboard as usual with no interruptions to their normal typing. When they want to send a Glympse, they simply hold down the "G" to create a link to a dynamic map that can be inserted into any application or service.
As with all Glympse applications and services, the sender has complete control over the length of time their real-time location is visible, and can extend or cancel a Glympse anytime. Recipients do not need to have the app installed to view the sender's location -- they can view the dynamic map on any mobile or web browser.
