Spin Master Ltd. and Mondo Media Partner to Launch SpindoTV

SpindoTV is a New Kids Focused Channel Programmed to Address Underserved Audience on YouTube


LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spin Master Ltd., a global leader and one of the top five U.S. toy manufacturers*, and Mondo Media, the leading distributor of animation on YouTube, are teaming up to launch "SpindoTV," a new channel targeted at engaging kids ages 6-11.

Chatter on the playground has shifted dramatically from what's on TV to what's on YouTube. The popularity of viral videos, comedy and video game walk-throughs have proven there is a massive audience of younger kids that routinely visit YouTube. Despite the popularity of YouTube, original content for younger children is rare and hard to find, which is where SpindoTV comes into play. SpindoTV, scheduled to launch in Q1 2015, is a new YouTube channel that will host high quality, kid-friendly animated and live action content including new short form series based on Spin Master's properties as well original shows and pilots sourced from Mondo's MCN (Mondo's curated network of animation channels on YouTube) and third party independent creators.
